Accessibility statement
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We have designed and built it with the aim of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
The website has been built to:
- use semantic HTML, with a logical heading structure and labelled landmarks;
- work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link;
- meet AA colour-contrast ratios for text and interface components;
- remain usable when text is resized and on small screens;
- respect the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system;
- give every form field a visible label, with clear error messages and an error summary; and
- hide purely decorative diagrams from screen readers, with their meaning given in the surrounding text.
We test pages with automated accessibility checks as part of development, and review them manually with a keyboard and at different screen sizes.
Known limitations
We are not currently aware of specific barriers on this website. It has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA. If you find anything that is difficult to use, we would like to know.
