Who we are
This notice explains how Bailey & Prosper Holdings Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as Bailey & Prosper Software, handles personal information collected through this website and in response to enquiries. We are the controller of that information.
Bailey & Prosper Holdings Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 17444004). Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
You can contact us about privacy matters at hello@baileyprosper.com.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect:
- your name, work email address and company or organisation;
- the type of project and the description of your requirements that you provide; and
- your preferred timescale, if you choose to give one.
We ask only for what we need to respond. Please don’t include sensitive personal information, passwords or other confidential credentials in your message.
To protect the enquiry form from abuse, our server uses your IP address to limit how often the form can be submitted. The address is converted into a keyed one-way identifier, which is not stored with your enquiry, is held only in temporary storage and expires within 24 hours. If you email us directly, we receive the information contained in your email.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the website and keep it secure.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements;
- prepare for and enter into any engagement that follows; and
- keep the website and enquiry form secure and protect them from misuse.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries and in keeping our services secure. Where an enquiry relates to a contract with you personally, we process your information to take steps at your request before entering into that contract.
We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based in, or process information in, countries outside the UK, including the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to respond to you and to manage any discussions that follow. If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact, unless we need to keep it for longer to meet a legal obligation. Information relating to an engagement is kept in line with the terms of that engagement and our legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- access the information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased, or its use restricted, in certain circumstances;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests; and
- receive your information in a portable format, where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@baileyprosper.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
