Systems integration

Connect the systems your business runs on.

When applications don’t share data, people fill the gaps, rekeying, exporting and reconciling. We design and build reliable integrations between applications, databases, APIs, document systems and enterprise services, so information flows where it is needed.

What we integrate

One coherent flow of information.

Integration work starts with your processes and data, then selects the most robust technical route between each system.
  1. 01

    Business applications

Finance, CRM, ERP, HR and line-of-business systems, connected through their APIs or supported integration methods.

  2. 02

    Databases and data platforms

Synchronisation and data pipelines between operational databases, reporting stores and analytics platforms.

  3. 03

    APIs and web services

Design, build and consumption of REST and webhook-based APIs, including secure APIs that expose your own systems to partners.

  4. 04

    Document and content systems

Document stores and file-based exchanges, including automated document generation, filing and retrieval.

  5. 05

    Enterprise and cloud services

Identity providers, Microsoft 365 and the cloud services at the centre of modern organisations.

  6. 06

    Legacy and file-based interfaces

Scheduled file transfers, CSV and spreadsheet imports, and interfaces to systems without modern APIs.

Integration engineering

Integrations designed for when things go wrong.

Integrations sit on the critical path of your operations. They are engineered to be dependable, observable and secure.

01Reliability

Designed for failure

Retries, idempotent processing and queueing, designed so that transient outages in a connected system don’t lose or duplicate data.

02Observability

Visible and monitored

Logging, monitoring and alerting that show what moved, when, and what needs attention.

03Security

Least-privilege access

Scoped credentials, secure secret storage and encryption in transit for every connection.

04Integrity

Data each system can trust

Validation, mapping and reconciliation, so every system receives data it can rely on.

05Documentation

Documented interfaces

Documented data mappings and interfaces, so integrations can be maintained and extended with confidence.

Integration patterns

The right pattern for each connection.

Not every integration needs to be real-time. We select the pattern that best balances timeliness, reliability and cost.
  1. 01

    Event-driven

Webhooks and events move information the moment something changes, suited to time-sensitive processes.

  2. 02

    Scheduled synchronisation

Regular, reliable synchronisation where near-real-time isn’t required, with full reconciliation.

  3. 03

    Batch exchange

Structured file imports and exports for high volumes, or for systems without modern interfaces.

  4. 04

    API-led

Well-designed APIs that expose your systems and data to other applications and partners in a controlled way.

Questions

Common questions.

What if a system doesn’t have an API?

Many older systems can still exchange data through database access, file exports or scheduled transfers. We assess the options and their trade-offs during discovery.

Who maintains integrations when a vendor changes its API?

Integrations need ongoing care as connected systems change. Under a support arrangement we monitor integrations and update them as connected platforms evolve.

Can you integrate with Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft 365 and identity services are common integration points, and we design those connections with scoped, least-privilege permissions.
